Job Title: Senior Accounts Payable Coordinator

Location: Burlington, MA (Hybrid)

Job Description:

We're recruiting for a Senior Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our client in Burlington, MA on a hybrid work schedule. The selected candidate will join an established accounts payable department, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and timely.

Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable process, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Review, validate, and process a high volume of vendor invoices.

Coordinate monthly and yearly close processes.

Conduct regular audit and reconciliation of financial data.

Resolve invoice discrepancies and liaise with vendors and internal departments as required.

Mentor and guide junior staff members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Assist in ad hoc finance projects and prepare financial reports as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable

Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.

Proficiency in accounting software

Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable professional

• Proficiency in account reconciliation and accounts payable (AP)

• Ability to perform check runs efficiently and accurately

• Experience in coding invoices and data entry

• Proficient in invoice processing and managing the complete cycle

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting

• Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
