Essential Job Functions

• Operateheavyequipmentincludingbutnot limited tobucketloaderswithmultiattachments, excavator,skidsteer, forklift,bulldozers,tractors,dumptruckssweepers,blowers,high-speedrunwayplows,vacuumsweeperetc.

{=html} <!-- --> - Cleanrunways,taxiwaysandrampareasofasphaltchipsanddebris. - Repairand maintain airport roads,runways,andtaxiways;patchholes,layasphaltand regrade forproperstorageinamanner consistent with VOSHA and Citysafety standards. - Operatehigh-speedairportspecificsnow removalequipmentonrunways,taxiwaysand ramps includesbutnotlimitedto;spreadde-icerandsand. - CommunicateswithFAAAirTrafficControlforclearanceontomovementareas. - Maintainsignageandpavementmarkings on roadwaysystem, airfieldrunwayand taxiwaysystemand parkinggarage;linestriping, workwithtemplatesandfabricationofsigns.

(hazardous waste including, but not limited to,cleaners, degreasers, lubricants, runwayde-icersandwastesludgethat collects in open storm water/sewer lines.) - Maintain grass areas landslide and on and off airfield including but not limited to, mowingalongtaxiways and runways, maintaining landscapingshrubs,flowerbeds,and plantingsaroundairportgrounds andbuildings. - Loadandunloadvehicles - Performrelatedworkasrequired. - Actas\"Ambassador\" fortheCity,carrying out work and interacting withco-workers and the public in a respectful, professionalmanner. - Carry out work in the field, and interact with the public in courteous and respectful manner, presenting self and City in a positive manner.
