Robert Half Production Manager in Burnsville, Minnesota

Description

We are seeking a Production Manager to join our south metro client. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of ongoing construction projects, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget. This role is critical in the planning, scheduling, and budgeting of projects, and requires a keen eye for quality control and adherence to established specifications and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and managing the operational aspects of ongoing construction projects

• Ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget

• Playing a key role in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting

• Maintaining a constant supply of materials for project execution

• Ensuring quality control and adherence to established specifications and standards

• Supervising the performance of subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects

• Utilizing data entry skills to maintain and update project records

• Leveraging Microsoft Excel for project tracking and reporting

• Employing negotiation skills to procure materials and manage subcontractors

• Monitoring project progress and making necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion

Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Production Manager or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in data entry is essential.

• Experience in using Microsoft Excel is required.

• Strong negotiation skills are necessary.

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.

• Knowledge of production management procedures and best practices.

• Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.

• Demonstrated experience in reporting on key production metrics.

• Excellent communication, team management, and leadership skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to handle time-sensitive tasks.

• Must be legally eligible to work in the location of the job.
