East Butler manufacturer is in need of laborers. Previous manufacturing experience or construction experience is preferred. We have openings in multiple departments. Placement will depend on the needs of the departments and the experience of the candidates. Job descriptions are as follows:

Glass cutting table:  Position involves lifting large sheets of glass by a device and set on a cutting table / machine (basic CNC) that is programmed to cut the sheets to specified sizes; break apart the smaller pieces & place on a rack for the next step in the process.

Seamer: The Glass Seamer will be responsible for preparing and seaming glass products to ensure durability, quality, and safety. This role involves operating seaming machines according to specifications. Key responsibilities include inspecting glass for defects, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety protocols. Attention to detail and craftsmanship are essential, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.

De-Bagger: Removing laminated glass from autoclave racks and will be responsible for the safe and efficient removal of glass products from bagging materials, carefully removing glass items from bags to prevent damage, prior to quality inspection.   

Potting: This role involves preparing glass materials, ensuring quality control during the potting process, and adhering to safety and production standards. Key tasks include mixing potting compounds, applying materials to glass components, and performing routine maintenance on potting equipment.

Shift hours are:  Mon -- Thursday- 6am -- 4:30 pm, Overtime if needed. 

Pay rate: $15/hr.
