The Advanced Care Center of Butler is a comfortable and home-like 29-bed skilled nursing center that provides high quality short-term rehabilitation services and comprehensive nursing care to help individuals successfully return to home. Responsible for directing the development, implementation, supervision and ongoing evaluation of the activities program. Directing the activity program includes scheduling of activities, both individual and groups, implementing and/or delegating the implementation of the programs, monitoring the response and/or reviewing/evaluating the response to the programs to determine if the activities meet the assessed needs of the resident and making revisions as necessary. Responsible for assessment, care planning and implementation of the care plan for residents of the Advanced Care Center of Butler. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Recreation Therapy, or equivalent experience as required by the NCTRC Board to achieve certification. Certification required: Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) by the National Council of Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word and Excel required.
