JOB REQUIREMENTS: I-State Truck Center is looking for Diesel Mechanic/Technician(s) of all skill levels for our Marshfield, Wisconsin location.We are currently seeking Diesel Mechanic/Technician(s) to join our team who are specializing in Freightliner, Detroit, Allison, Cummins, CAT products, MTU and more! Diesel Technicians will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related components in trucks, buses, and other heavy-duty vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, diagnostic skills, and a passion for working with diesel engines. Diesel Mechanic/Technician Job Duties Responsible for repairing, maintaining diesel engines and diesel components used in various vehicles and diesel equipment. Technical degree or certification a plus. Accurately and efficiently diagnose complex diesel engine conditions and make necessary repairs. Communicate effectively with peers, foreman, and service team regarding those repairs. Quality control work performed to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. Keep paperwork updated and handed in upon completion. Meet requirements for certifications. Diesel Mechanic/Technician Requirements Valid Driver\'s license (Bonus compensation for CDL holders) Must possess a good work ethic, a positive attitude, and be reliable. Must possess an excellent understanding of Detroit Diesel engines through the current GHG17 product. Experience with other diesel engine platforms such as Cummins, CAT, & International are a plus. Other mechanical skills desired but not essential: Hydraulics, Brakes & Suspension, Manual Transmissions, Drive Train, and Automatic Transmissions.
