This Position is for a Business Controller with a work location in Byhalia, MS.

This position reports to: Senior Business Controller

Your role and responsibilities

Join the Team as the Business Controller focusing on the Electrification Installation Products (ELIP) business, specifically supporting the Distribution Centers and Resale/Merchandising market.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide reliable and timely analysis of financial results, budget, and forecasts. Each day, you will support the group management and other stakeholders at various organization levels in decision making processes. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting in the evaluation of the impact of strategic, financial, or other major investment decisions.

This role will prefer candidates capable of working a hybrid-remote schedule near one of Company Distribution Centers or ELIP Hub in Memphis, TN.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Performing the analysis of the group's financial results in your area of responsibility and coordinating the preparation of various management reports, including management performance reports, commentaries on financial statements, etc., on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Working with the reporting units and countries to follow-up on the inconsistencies noted on management reporting information.

Contributing to the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) initiatives for the group.

Leading process improvement and cost saving initiatives to protect and increase the group's profitability.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields and minimum 8 years of experience in controlling or financial analysis, financial operations or internal controls

General accounting knowledge in financial statements, cashflow, inventories, reconciliations, and internal controls

Change management experience

Previous experience in Manufacturing / Distribution environments highly preferred

Must have advanced proficiency with MS Office, particularly with Excel

Experience using multiple tools including SAP, ERPs, Power BI

Demonstrated critical thinking capability is required conducting financial analysis, effective problem solving and performing root cause analysis

Ability to work in a collaborate team environment with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is required

Business oriented mindset to support business development

Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for the Company in the US
