Apprentice - Electroplating Technician Penn United Technologies, Inc. is hiring immediately for full-time Apprentice Electroplating Technicians to work at our rapidly growing Plating facility. We are looking for self-motivated, dependable individuals who are looking to train in a career and join a company that provides exceptional benefits for you.  This position does require the ability to regularly rotate weekly between daylight, afternoon and midnight shifts with a 10% shift differential for non-daylight shifts. Responsibilities: Work on the plating shop floor in order to learn required job tasks Regularly attend apprenticeship classes held on site Manage the activities of the plating parts, including setup and maintenance of the lines, plating and inspection of the parts, and the preparation of parts for shipping. Strive to keep setup and maintenance time to a minimum Maintain job tracking system Ensure that chemical inventories are adequately maintained at all times and that orders are properly filed Follow all safety and quality plans Study the production schedule and estimate the requirements for completing an order efficiently and effectively Rotate, on a weekly basis, from daylight, afternoon and midnight shifts Qualifications

Qualifications: Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent Technical, mechanical and math ability Attention to detail and ability to prioritize Able to work as part of a team Able to work daylight, afternoon, and midnight rotating shifts Able to lift 40 lbs., and stand/walk for 8 hours.
