Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in Calabash, North Carolina. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing our company's financial data. Your duties will include processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and using your accounting skills to ensure our financial operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

• Perform bank reconciliations to verify our financial data.

• Maintain the general ledger by processing journal entries and reconciling accounts.

• Assist with the month-end close process to ensure all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.

• Utilize financial software systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to streamline accounting processes.

• Review financial statements and reports to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and procedures.

• Use your accounting skills to contribute to financial planning and budgeting processes.

• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and principles.

• Provide support for financial audits by preparing necessary documents and information. Requirements

• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Demonstrable experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with General Ledger management and Journal Entries

• Proven ability to handle Month End Close procedures

• Proficient in using accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP

• Must possess strong communication and organizational skills

• A keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy

• Ability to operate independently and demonstrate initiative

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

• Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses

• High level of integrity, dependability, and confidentiality.
