Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team based in Caldwell, Idaho. In this role, you will be tasked with overseeing and managing the processing of invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring accurate financial record keeping. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently processing a large volume of invoices, ensuring adherence to company policies.

• Matching invoices to purchase orders and receipts, batching invoices for processing, and coding them correctly to the relevant general ledger accounts.

• Preparing and processing electronic transfers, check payments, and ACH transactions in a timely fashion.

• Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, addressing any inquiries, and resolving any discrepancies promptly.

• Reconciling vendor statements and accounts, addressing and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Reviewing and processing employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.

• Assisting with accounts payable month-end closing activities, which include accruals, journal entries, and reconciliations.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, purchase orders, and payment documentation. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is required.

• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is essential.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a must.

• Knowledge of Concur software is necessary.

• Proficiency in using ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is crucial.

• Understanding of various Accounting Functions is needed.

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) is required.

• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is important.

• Auditing skills are necessary.

• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) processes is required.
