1st Shift Maintenance Technician in Caledonia

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to fabricate truck body parts using various tools and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in MIG welding, reading blueprints, and using cutting tools. The role involves fabricating and welding equipment, ensuring high-quality and precise work.

This is a 1st shift position working 7a-5p. They're currently working 9.5 hour days Mon-Fri, and 2 Saturday per month 7am-11am (50+ hours).

Pay ranges from $21-24/hour .

  • Fabricate truck body parts using measurement tools and reading blueprints.

  • Cut materials using plasma cutters or shears.

  • Utilize tools such as punch press, drills, saws, and other equipment.

  • Perform MIG and Arc welding.

  • Ensure all fabricated parts meet quality standards.

Essential Skills

  • 5 years experience in MIG welding.

  • 5 years experience welding on steel material.

  • 1 year experience reading blueprints.

  • 5 years experience using tools such as cutting tools, impact wrenches, or torches.

  • Mechanical inclination.

  • Experience with iron hanging on vehicles or trucks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00
