Job Requirements: Responsible for planning, monitoring, and managing the facilitys day to day program. This individual will report to the Board of Directors and/or an Executive Director. Shall routinely be on duty at the childcare facility 40 hours per week. Understand and be able to implement the entitys mission of quality and reliable childcare for the community. Responsibly and effectively manage staff, including weekly schedules to ensure child/staff ratios are maintained all times. Have a strong desire for safety and the well-being of children at all times. Ensure the facility maintains in compliance with all DESEs Office of Childhood Licensing Rules, including a strong understanding of the Licensing Rules. Shall be willing and able to be flexible on a day-to-day basis as needs occur including being able to provide coverage in classrooms as needed. Shall be able to pass a qualifying criminal background check, be of good character and intent and shall be qualified to provide care conducive to the welfare of children.
