Position Summary The Manufacturing Scheduler Planner is responsible for coordinating functional processes on MRP orders from sale through design, procurement, and delivery. This role involves working with Master Schedulers to perform capacity planning and report analysis, handling ECNs, understanding machine product capabilities, and problem-solving project scheduling issues. The position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and proficiency in modern project management techniques, including LEAN Enterprise processes. This role is on-site in Madera, CA. Remote/Hybrid work is not available. Key Responsibilities Responsible for coordinating functional processes on MRP orders from sale through design, procurement and delivery. Work with the Master Schedulers to perform capacity planning and report analysis, and “what if” situations Review and process ECN’s, including rework, and or scrapping of material that is obsolete due to ECN Understand machine product capability, process, and performance requirements. Work with Master scheduler to problem solves project scheduling issues, as well as other non-recurring issues. Conduct analyses, make recommendations & develop alternative solutions with conclusions on internal capacity for make buy decisions. (outsourcing) Model the available capacity to effectively balance workloads across the departments Show evidence of good organizational skills. Investigate shop orders for discrepancies Work with the Master Scheduler to maintain inventory at business levels, and required inventory turns Requirements for the Role Mandatory: 5+ years of relevant experience in Project scheduling or Project Management Working knowledge of at machinery preferred Read & interpret applicable technical information such as 2D/3D drawings. Knowledge of modern project management techniques and principles preferred including LEAN Enterprise processes. APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) certification is a plus. Ability to use a PC with all MS applications. COMPENSATION RANGE: $29.00 hr - $36.00 hr Compensation is determined on experience and skill.
