This Senior Accountant opportunity is for someone who is a results-oriented professional who is ready to hit the ground running and contribute to the overall efficient operation of the finance team. You will work across multiple business units and manage daily accounting and finance tasks across the who organization.

How you will make an impact:

• Manage all aspects of the company’s accounting function, including regulatory reporting and compliance with state filings.

• Own and manage general ledger accounting functions.

• Direct all accounts payable and treasury administrations.

• Perform monthly accounting close, account analysis/reconciliation, and prepare financial packages for monthly, quarterly, and year-end analysis and management reporting.

• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements by consolidating foreign and local entities.

• Manage and implement accounting operations, processes, and financial policies in accordance with GAAP.

• Assistance with month-end closing, account reconciliation in accordance with GAAP, financial analysis, forecast, and tracking of company initiatives.

• Develop and maintain internal controls and financial policies and procedures.

• Partner with other departments to provide financial analysis and support.

• Support the budgeting and forecasting process.

• Perform ad hoc projects, including support of management team reporting; support of financial modeling, and support of other special projects as assigned or required.

• Coordinate tax prep with our external tax accountants and annual audits of the business.

• Support the implementation of a new ERP system and FP& A software.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• CPA license required.

• 5+ years of accounting experience

• Experience working for an audit firm.

• Knowledge of GAAP financial reporting requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Energy storage industry experience is a plus.

• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, meet, or exceed deadlines and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, start-up environment.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
