How You Will Contribute:

  • Customer Feedback Implementation: Help implement tools and processes for capturing and integrating customer feedback into business strategies.

  • Support Customer Journey Initiatives: Help in creating and updating customer journey maps to better understand the touchpoints and interactions across the customer lifecycle. Assist in the execution of digital marketing and engagement initiatives to enhance the omnichannel customer experience.

  • Insights Generation: Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for improving customer experiences and enhancing engagement.

  • Content Creation: Assist in developing content and materials for customer communication and education.

  • Assist in Customer Research: Support the collection and analysis of customer (HCP and Patient/Caregiver) feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  • Learning and Development: Participate in training sessions and workshops to gain a deeper understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and customer experience practices.

  • Prepare Reports and Presentations: Develop and present reports on customer experience findings and project progress to internal stakeholders.

  • Innovation and Improvement: Contribute ideas and suggestions for improving customer experience processes and strategies.

  • Collaborate on Projects: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and medical teams, to execute customer experience initiatives.

Job Requirements:

  • This is a hybrid position located in Cambridge, MA

  • Candidates must be currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s degree graduating December 2025 or later

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating content and collaborating with cross-functional teams

  • Customer-Centric Mindset: A genuine interest in and understanding of customer experience principles and practices

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with data analysis tools like Excel, SPSS, or others is a plus

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and generate insights

  • Team-Oriented: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data analysis and content creation

  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive attitude.

  • Digital Literacy: Basic understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms. Prior experience with CRM systems is advantageous

  • Creative Thinking: Creativity and innovative thinking for contributing ideas and suggesting improvements

  • Professionalism: Strong professional ethics and the ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information

Internship Eligibility

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship

  • Must be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2025 or later

  • The internship program is 10-12 weeks depending on the two start dates (June 2nd- August 29th) or (June 16th - August 22nd

  • The intern must be able to commit to one of these time frames

  • Able to work full time 40 hours a week during internship dates

  • Takeda does not provide a housing stipend or relocation support for the U.S Summer Internship Program

Takeda Compensation and Benefits Summary

We understand compensation may be an important factor as you consider an internship opportunity. We are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices.

U.S. Hourly Wage Range:

$21.00 - $46.00

The estimated hourly range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will depend on the candidate’s school year/level to be entered following completion of internship. The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. internship benefits vary by location and may include:

  • Paid sick time

  • Civic Duty paid time off

  • Participation at company volunteer events

  • Participation at company sponsored special events

  • Access to on-site fitness center (where available)

  • Commuter Benefit: To offset your work-commute expenses, Takeda provides U.S. employees with a fixed monthly subsidy to be used for either public transportation (transit) or parking.
