Philips Director Program Management in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Director Program Management (Bothell, WA or Cambridge, MA)

Philips Ultrasound is seeking a Director Program Management to lead the execution of global, cross-functional R&D/NPI Project teams responsible for launching new Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) solutions for Obstetrics designed to meet the needs of underserved geographies across the globe. In this role you will work in close collaboration with large global Non-Governmental Organizations (e.g. Gates Foundation).

Your role:

  • Manage projects for Research & Development (R&D)/New Product Introduction (NPI) project teams, which require significant cross-functional involvement.

  • Serve as expert to the project team on overall “Product Development Process” (including Design Controls).

  • Development and oversight of project Charter, Development Plan, and Contract. Accountable for team’s compliance to project plans and commitments as well as appropriate change management, as necessary.

  • Develop and manage project plans, including scheduling, resourcing, budgeting, and communication, to Product Development Leadership and Senior Leadership—including internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ensure team adherence to project plans as well as maintain project dashboards and action and decision registers. Lead team to manage internal and external resources in the execution of an NPI project (i.e., managing critical external relationships for testing, development, etc.).

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired a minimum of 10 years’ experience in regulated product development, working on multi-functional programs.

  • Your skills include:

  • Been a part of a minimum of 2 product development cycles as a project leader (concept to launch).

  • Proven ability to lead and influence technical and commercial resources.

  • Specific training and/or certification highly desired (Lean Product Development, PMP Certification desirable); Daily Management experience is a plus.

  • Preferably Experience within a regulated industry (medical devices desirable, along with knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management and FDA Quality System Regulations)

  • You have a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electro-Mechanical or Biomedical); other degrees will be considered based on experience. Advanced degree is preferred (MS, PhD, or MBA).

  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position .

  • You have strong cross-functional business acumen, including technical, marketing, manufacturing, finance, quality, clinical, and regulatory-based knowledge.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position is $148,960 to $255,360 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
