Philips Maternal Health Program Lead in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Maternal Health Program Lead

You will be responsible for tactical project execution (planning, implementation, and execution) in service of our longer-term strategic vision for maternal and fetal health. You will represent the Maternal Health team both externally to customers and partners as well as internally with cross-functional teams and will collaborate across traditional business lines. Your entrepreneurial drive, strong project management skills, and a passion for improving maternal health outcomes will be critical to this role.

Philips has a long legacy in maternal health including industry-leading positions in solutions such as remote monitoring, fetal monitoring, ultrasound, digital health, and consumer products. The Maternal Health team is building upon these assets and connecting dots across businesses to create unified and differentiated maternal health solutions – all in service of helping our customers tackle their most complex maternity care challenges.

Your role:

  • Overseeing the execution of projects needed to build and scale a new business, particularly program implementation for pilots. This will be done in partnership with operations, clinical, marketing, and others. Multiple projects will be ongoing simultaneously, and it will be important to ensure timely delivery and adherence to project objectives, timelines, and budgets.

  • Supporting strategic business initiatives and planning under the guidance of Maternal Health leadership, with an initial focus on value proposition, business model, and evidence generation.

  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to define project goals, develop project plans, and allocate resources effectively; translating abstract, high level conceptual ideas into executable plans for business success.

  • Monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks, and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions; coordinating and facilitating regular project status meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment across all involved parties.

  • Working closely with the commercial operations team to drive process improvement initiatives, streamline operations, and enhance overall efficiency. Actively participating in sales opportunities to win market share.

  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, status reports, and presentations.

  • Staying informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes relevant to the Maternal Health space that may impact commercial operations, and incorporate them into project planning as necessary.

  • Identifying and building networks both within and outside Philips for brand development, Voice of Customer, and strategic partnerships; creating a coalition of experts and industry partners.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 7+ years of business operations, project management, or consulting experience, with significant experience working for a U.S. payer or health plan. Experience working for a high-growth startup is helpful as well.

  • Your skills include project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and allocate resources effectively. You have experience with data analysis and an analytical skillset – you love digging through data to solve complex problems and have a high comfort level in dealing with ambiguity.

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, healthcare management, or related field.

  • You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to interact with executive level management and customers, as well as to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization; ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix environment and work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

  • You also may require 15% travel annually.
