Principal Clinical Development Lead
This role within Clinical Insights and Informatics involves frontline clinical research, and leading cutting-edge clinical research, report generation, and analysis of clinical data essential to business growth.
Your role:
Supervise and contribute to research strategies and roadmaps with product management and business leadership
Support and lead business and cross-functional teams in decision making through assessments of clinical evidence topics
Drive engagement with external research partners and oversee biostatistical analyses with biostatisticians and data scientists
Demonstrate competence in evidence processes across clinical development, operations, regulatory, legal, privacy, and data management
Develop and coach less experienced researchers while managing cross-functional research teams (set sprint goals, milestones) and identifying resource needs
Ensure accurate dissemination of clinical data/information for external communications and drive the delivery of clinical development evidence (CSRs, CERs, CEPs, manuscripts, etc.)
You're the right fit if:
You’ve acquired 7+ years of experience in clinical research and a background in scientific research. Experience in MedTech and strong understanding of Health Care Administration or equivalent required. 2+ years of experience in leading teams or demonstrated subject matter expertise in the relevant technology/therapeutic domain or equivalent.
You have a PhD or MD in a relevant field (strongly preferred) or equivalent combination of Master’s degree (in a life science field) and experience.
You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
You’re an excellent communicator with strong analytical skills, strong medical and clinical understanding, and familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements (EU MDR, FDA, etc.)
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in Cambridge, MA is $130,144 to $223,104
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
