SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, Sloan School of Management-Economic, Behavioral & Policy Science (BPS), provides high-level faculty and administrative support for multiple programs and projects; synthesizes and communicates clearly and evaluates tasks with an eye toward efficiency. Will anticipate and initiate actions regarding office operations which require in-depth knowledge of the Institute and other departments; interpret and resolve highly varied situations and problems; supports the mission of the Sloan academic areas, and through continuous professional development, strengthen competencies that are most valued at the School.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: High School diploma or equivalent; a minimum of five years of administrative, office, or related experience; ability to assess unit needs and impact on MIT/Sloan, understanding the role relative to all areas; advanced computer software skills and ability to identify and learn new programs and software skills, navigate Internet, and perform complex searches; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to multitask and manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality; collaboration with others while advancing organizational goals and achieving desired outcomes; and ability to manage ambiguity, adapt quickly to complete tasks, and solve challenges that develop. Rate of pay: $32.00 - 36.00/hour, based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity. Generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
