SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, OFFICE OF EXTERNAL RELATIONS, DEVELOPMENT, MIT Sloan Office of External Relations, to support the Executive Director, Development, Director of Principal Gifts, and Associate Director of Leadership Giving by managing complex and diverse tasks with minimal supervision; manage calendars and information flow; book domestic and international travel; create travel materials and itineraries; process detailed expense reports, compose and edit correspondence and documents; create presentation materials and reports; maintain donor lists; organize events, and perform other tasks.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: High school diploma or equivalent; a minimum of five years of related experience; experience with high-volume scheduling in a busy environment; excellent organizational, time-management, problem-solving, customer service, and writing skills; discretion with sensitive and confidential matters; proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe product suite; experience with database management, and demonstrated ability to learn new software quickly; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and comfort working in a fast-paced and complex environment with shifting priorities PREFERRED: Bachelor’s degree; experience in development and in higher education, familiarity with AdvanceWeb from Ellucian, and support for MIT’s commitment to the values of DEI. Hourly rate: $32.00 - $36.00, based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity. Generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
