About the Job
The Senior Manager, Specialty Pharmacy & Payer Access - Rare Disease will serve as the primary point of contact for specialty pharmacy (SP) HUB programs and be the liaison between the Care Connect PSS Case Management teams, SP HUB programs, and other internal stakeholders to improve patient access through partnership with these providers. This role will track payer and specialty pharmacy trends to support the patient program in addressing barriers to treatment for patients enrolled in the CareConnectPSS program.

Main Responsibilities:
Provide consistent and effective communication to all appropriate stakeholders as the first line of support/single point of contact with contracted and non-contracted specialty pharmacy customers’ patient support functions.
Build strong partnerships with Specialty Pharmacy HUBs to improve patient access, elevate the patient experience, and find efficiencies in working together to streamline the patient journey.
Conduct regularly scheduled calls with specialty pharmacy HUB partners to address escalated or stalled patient cases. Track issues through to resolution.
Identify and educate case management teams on specialty pharmacy trends, process changes, or reimbursement issues impacting patients receiving Sanofi products through these challenges.
SupportDivisional Directorsof Case Management Support Services in liaising with Market Access, Trade Account, and Specialty Pharmacy data management teams to ensure optimal access to Sanofi drugs via this distribution channel.
Communicate across functions within PSS to ensure the resolution of home infusion issues for patients serviced through specialty pharmacy channels.
Collaborate with Patient Access team to ensure correct processing of specialty pharmacy copay program claims as needed.
Collaborate with centralized training team to develop and provide training to case management team and other internal stakeholders on working with specialty pharmacies.
Consistently evaluate and innovate around processes related to working relationships with large specialty pharmacies and contracted distributors.
About You
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum 2 years of case management, patient access, or HUB vendor relationship management experience.
Strong background in the insurance, reimbursement, and payer landscape as it relates to specialty pharmacies and PBMs.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing business, customer, and patient needs/requirements.
Applicants must reside in a geographic location that allows them to comply with Sanofi’s hybrid work model. This is a Cambridge, MA based position.
Preferred Qualifications:
Direct experience working with specialty pharmacies.
Bi-lingual language skills.
Experience presenting information to senior leadership and organizational stakeholders.
Pharma/biotech patient services experience.
