Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking a Summer 2025

Industrial Engineering Intern for a position in Camden, AR.

Come join Lockheed Martin, Missiles Fire and Control in Camden, AR for a Summer Industrial Engineer Internship.

Camden Operations is a manufacturing facility occupying over 2000 acres and 2 million sq. ft. of manufacturing space building rockets, missiles, canisters, ground vehicles, as well as housing a state of the art machining center. The facility currently has over 1000 employees.

Candidate must be pursuing a 4 year engineering degree from an accredited college or university. Candidate must be able to apply lean manufacturing techniques to reduce cost and increase yields as well as support continuous improvement activities.

Must have good communication skills and be able to work

effectively in a team environment.

Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma principles, Work

Measurements and Time Standards,

Productivity and Performance management, Capacity Analysis, Simulation Modeling, Cost Analysis and Estimating.

This position will be located at a facility that requires special access and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen

Basic Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in Industrial Engineering or a related field at an accredited university.

Desired Skills:

Good communication skills, problem solver, ability to benchmark up and coming technologies, knowledge of lean principles.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
