Job Description:

Manages experienced professionals, lower level supervisors, or managers. Often leads one or more teams or a department. Communicates within and outside of the organization to influence leadership to accept new practices, approaches, and concepts. Develops or champions new concepts or technologies. Manages the implementation of functional strategies and recommends operational plans that directly impact the short- to mid-term function or business area results. Requires broad management and cross-functional leadership knowledge and mastery level knowledge within a specific technical area or broad expertise across multiple related job areas.

Essential Functions:

  • Communicates with parties within and outside of the organization, which includes larger customers or vendors.

  • Works to influence others to accept team's views or practices and agree/accept new concepts, practices, and approaches.

  • Requires ability to communicate and influence leadership regarding matters of substantial importance to the function or business area.

  • Frequently conducts briefings to senior leaders.

  • May be responsible for entire projects or processes within job area.

  • May be responsible for providing guidance, coaching and training to other employees within job area.

  • May manage projects at this level with responsibility for the delegation of work and the review of others' work product.

  • Responsible for improving upon existing or establishing new processes and systems using significant conceptualization, reasoning and interpretation.

  • Opportunities for problem solving and innovation are often complex, requiring broad-based consideration of variables that impact multiple functions and/or businesses.

  • Extensively analyzes problems to seek understanding of the root cause of the problem.

  • Develops or champions new concepts or technologies.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related manager experience.

  • Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related manager experience.

  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related manager experience.
