Immediate Office of the Chief of Naval Operations SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN) in Camp H.M. Smith Marine Corp Base, Hawaii

Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN) within HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND. Responsibilities You will provide program management support for Joint Command and Control programs. You will manage and oversee the installation, operation, maintenance, and security of all Joint systems at USPACOM, Service Headquarters, and Sub-Unified Commands in PACIFIC area of responsibility. You will support the command and control war fighting capability of the Commander, Deputy Commander, USPACOM Staff. You will coordinate and integrate Global Command and Control System Joint (GCCS-J), Joint Operational Planning and Execution System (JOPES), and the Global Status of Resources and Training System (GORTS) information system issues. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as the following; 1. Managing the installation, operation and maintenance of systems, services, and other system administration tasks. 2. Determining and prioritizing overall requirements for engineering, development, installation, operation, and maintenance of systems and services. 3. Preparing and delivering briefings to Joint Staff, USPACOM Command, Service Commands, and Unified Commands. 4. Directing and managing budget execution, contract procurement of services, maintenance, supplies or equipment, and configuration management. 5. Participating in interviews of candidates, evaluating work performance, determining training needs, resolving employee complaints, and performing full range of supervisory duties.
