Responsibilities You will check tires, lights, brakes, gas or fuel oil, water, lubrication and other checks as required. You will hook up equipment and miscellaneous accessories. You will make functional checks of accessories and equipment. You will fill and adjust oil and grease cups on all types of equipment operated and make adjustments and minor repairs to component parts of gasoline or diesel-powered engines. You will perform rigging pertaining to use of attachments and/or accessories, towing, and moving. You will operate motor graders, aquatic weed cutter, mudcat, and rollers of various types including all attachments. You will operate belt and bucket loaders to load various types of vehicles with various materials. The Screen-out Element for this position is: Ability to Do the Work of the Position without More than Normal Supervision: Tasks of the position include: Troubleshooting and repairing simple locks with minimum number of parts and few operating parameters; making new keys from duplication, impressions, and key codes.
