Production Worker

PeopleReady of Campbellsburg, IN is now hiring Production Workers! As a production worker, you will assemble and inspect products and ensure that manufactured products meet quality standards. Maintain  department equipment and/or assist inhouse maintenance personnel or outside service representatives as required. Ability to be trained tosetup, adjust, load, off load, and operate Fine Grind equipment. Relieve fellow workers as directed to support continuous operation of equipment.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $17.00/ hour

What you'll be doing as a Production Worker:

• Maintain machine utilization and improve processes throughout the machine room on a daily basis.

• Reports to shift supervisor for overall operations.

• Assist in training of new coworkers.

• Maintain department equipment

• Ability to be trained tosetup, adjust, load, off load, and operate Fine Grind equipment

• Relieve fellow workers as directed to support continuous operation of equipment.

• Maintain schedule for coolant changes of machines along with daily coolant consistency checks.

• Report to shift supervisor; materials needed to maintain daily production needs

• Follow written and/or oral schedules

• Work to instructions as provided

• Practice good housekeeping and safety habits

• Perform other related duties as assigned by shift supervisor.

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening), 3rd Shift (Night)

Job requirements:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not necessary  

• Able to be in a stationary position for up to 10 hours  

• Able to multitask, show flexibility, and have great attention to detail
