Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintains responsibility for all nursing care administered in conjunction with the Nurse Manager

  • Administers medications to residents

  • Gives direct care to residents, performs treatments as indicated

  • Assure that physicians' orders are carried out and integrated into a resident care plan

  • Documents information on residents' records according to policy and procedure

  • Directs nursing assistants in the care of residents

  • Instructs associates in the use of specific techniques

  • May be required to work as Charge Nurse

Requirements

  • Valid NYS license as an LPN

  • 1 yr. experience in Long Term Care or acute care would be preferred

  • Experience with guiding nursing through the regulatory survey process

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Able to work rotating weekends and holidays

Position pay range: $23.50-32.00/hour

Starting Pay: Based on experience
