We are looking for a dedicated, hard working person with a passion for quality lunches to be in charge of nutrition for our students and staff. Our Head Cook will lead the school lunch program for North Star Schools including working within state and federal guidelines for the school hot lunch program as well as procurement, cooking, serving, and kitchen clean-up, both daily and 3 deep cleans each year. The head cook is also responsible for the supervision of all kitchen staff. This position is also responsible for the procurement and preparation of concessions items for home games. The head cook will coordinate with the Activities Director to ensure that concessions items are available for each home game. The Head Cook is also part of the district Wellness Committee which meets 2 times each school year. This is a 10 month/year position.
