DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Position Title: Accountant II (P2)

Role: Ensure accounting compliance with US GAAP and SOX. Ensure timely and accurate recognition of revenue and expense and proper classification of financial statement transactions. Ensure the completeness and accuracy of balance sheet accounts along with the Accuracy of 10-Q, 10-K, and other external and internal reporting

Responsibilities  * Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls  * Perform an accurate and timely monthly close  * Perform regular analysis and reconciliations of balance sheet accounts  * Prepare and record journal entries for assigned areas  * Prepare monthly and quarterly flux analysis commentary for assigned accounts  * Prepare information for use in external reporting schedules  * Summarize data for management analysis  * Analyze account balances and take required action  * Work with internal business partners to resolve issues  * Support inquiries from internal and external auditors

Expectations   * Technical GAAP accounting knowledge  * Highly skilled in Excel  * Proficient at Word  * Collaborative  * Demonstrated sense of urgency in completing assignments  * Experience with Accounting system software or ERP's

Education/Certifications    * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or related field  * CPA a plus  * MBA a plus

Experience/Minimum Requirements    * 2 + years' experience in public or private industry accounting  * Ability to organize and set priorities in a fast-paced environment  * Problem solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment

Reports to: Supervisor Accounting

Working Conditions: Works in a normal office setting with no exposure to adverse environmental conditions.  We offer a hybrid working model.
