DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Position Title: Accountant III (P3)

Role: Responsible for accounting compliance with US GAAP, SOX, company policies, and debt agreements. Ensure timely and accurate recognition of revenue and expense and proper classification of financial statement transactions. Ensure the completeness and accuracy of balance sheet accounts along with accuracy of schedules utilized directly in 10-Q, 10-K, and other external and internal reporting. Responsible for critical review of processes for enhancement.

Responsibilities * Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls; * Ensure an accurate and timely monthly accounting close; * Perform regular analysis and reconciliations of complex balance sheet accounts; * Prepare and record complex journal entries; * Prepare monthly and quarterly flux analysis commentary for assigned accounts; * Prepare complex schedules for direct use in external reporting and internal management reporting packages; * Assist with development of process for accounting for complex contracts and other transactions; * Communicate and train accounting policy to internal business partners; * Review accruals for reasonableness and propose adjustments to management; * Identify, recommend, and assist with implementation of process improvements; * Support inquiries from internal and external auditors.

Expectations  * Technical GAAP accounting knowledge * Highly skilled in Excel * Proficient at Word and PowerPoint * Highly collaborative * Strong analytical skills * Excellent verbal and communication skills with ability to communicate with higher level management * Ability to use creative approaches to solve challenges * Experience with accounting system software or ERP's

Education/Certifications  * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting * CPA a plus * MBA a plus

Experience/Minimum Requirements * Public accounting experience or at least 5 years of corporate experience * Ability to organize and set priorities in a fast-paced environment * Problem solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment

Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office on Monday through Thursday.  On Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home.  There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that could require travel.
