The primary role of the Project Portfolio Manager, ERP is to manage the project portfolio and delivery within the ERP IT function.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Leading the intake process for ERP related initiatives consolidating the business cases, requirements and resources in order to prioritize the initiatives based on assessment and evaluation of business cases.
Coordinating and providing oversight for portfolio management activities including drawing out project charters and defining requirements and targets.
Anchoring project timelines, milestones and KPIs till delivery.
Centralizing, coordinating, and overseeing the management of projects' procedures and documentations - such as project charters, status report templates, risk & issue logs, closedown forms.
Accountable for on-time and within-budget delivery of projects that meet business requirements.
Leading demand and capacity management for ERP projects.
Monitoring all project risks and issues, actioning risk mitigation plans as necessary, and escalating major issues to relevant stakeholders.
Leading the day-to-day running of the PMO and Governance team.
Overall responsibility that the solution portfolio meets business service levels. Escalation oversight for support.
Accountable for reporting and tracking project and portfolio related KPIs.
Provide oversight to a team of solution architects focused on a given ERP solution.
Provide oversight to the ERP resources in Global Development center for work prioritization.
Collaborate with the other IT teams on a regular basis in order to ensure the two ways communication, informing the ERP project portfolio status and capturing the inputs from the other teams.
Working closely together with the other ERP leaders to consolidate the resources planning, budget allocations, vendors management and delivery plans.
Maintaining consistent visibility on status of the ERP project portfolio.
Preparing for and interacting with Lead of ERP Systems and other relevant committees on ERP Project Portfolio.
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required.
Specialization in Management, Engineering, or Computer Science, preferred, however, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
10+ years of SAP experience required.
Extensive hands-on experience in ERP implementations including two - three major ERP and Legal Entity consolidations.
Experience in a large multinational publicly traded company.
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Lead and develop cross-functional, multi-disciplinary high-performing teams.
Provides strategic and tactical direction and governance for the team.
Direct supervision of managers.
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is: $78,000 - $152,000.
