Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Canton, Massachusetts. This role involves handling general ledger responsibilities, preparing invoices, financial reporting, bank reconciliations, and balancing income statements. You will also have a customer-facing aspect as you will be working with vendors.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and processing invoices for payment

• Managing general ledger activities and maintaining accurate records

• Conducting financial reporting and preparing financial statements

• Performing bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Balancing income statements and rectifying any discrepancies

• Engaging in customer-facing activities, including resolving inquiries and maintaining relationships

• Collaborating with vendors to ensure smooth operations

• Utilizing QuickBooks for financial management and reporting

• Handling both accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes

• Utilizing various software like NetSuite, Oracle, SAP for financial operations and reporting. Requirements • Proficiency in performing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks.

• Proven experience with Bank Reconciliations.

• Demonstrated ability to manage General Ledger.

• Familiarity with preparing Journal Entries.

• Experience with Month End Close procedures.

• Knowledge of NetSuite software for accounting tasks.

• Experience with Oracle financial software.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software.

• Experience with SAP financial software.

• Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Solid understanding of financial regulations and legislation.
