Aerotek MIG Welder in Canton, Ohio
MIG Welders Needed!
Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on structural steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
Read and interpret blueprints and tape measures.
Utilize hand and power tools to fit and fabricate products.
Lift and adjust materials for welds, occasionally weighing 50-75 lbs.
Operate JIBB cranes to move materials.
Set up and adjust welding machines, including dialing and setting voltage.
Essential Skills
2+ years of MIG (GMAW) welding experience on aluminum, stainless, and structural steel.
Proficiency in blueprint reading.
Ability to read tape measures accurately (will be tested).

Work Environment
We operate in a clean and effective working environment. The shop floor is comfortable, and the team is welcoming. The manager is easy-going and encourages a fun atmosphere while maintaining high job performance standards. The facility operates on three shifts: 1st shift (6:00am-2:30pm), 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:00pm), and 3rd shift (10:00pm-6:00am). Employees work around 50 hours per week and may be asked to come in early or stay late to meet deadlines. There is an option for voluntary overtime on Sundays with double-time pay if 40 hours are completed during the week. The dress code includes jeans, a shirt, steel toe boots, and safety glasses.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00
