The Operations Development Program (ODP) is a two-year program designed to provide thorough exposure to The Timken Company's manufacturing and manufacturing support functions to develop future leaders within the company. The program includes various professional development experiences and on-the-job training during each assignment. ODP participants are a part of a cohort that advance through the program to attend trainings, network, and collaborate with leadership throughout the year. Participants will be mentored, and have significant interaction with senior operations leaders throughout the company. The program consists of four assignments each six months in duration. The first two assignments will be in one plant location. Program participants will then relocate to a second plant location for their third and fourth assignments. After completion of the program, permanent assignments will be in one of our U.S. manufacturing facilities. The four assignment focus areas:

  • Supply chain
  • Continuous improvement/lean
  • Manufacturing/operations supervision
  • Quality advancement

Educational Requirements/Qualifications:

  • College graduate (December 2024- May 2025preferred).
  • Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Bachelor's in Industrial andSystemsEngineering, Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management, Bachelor's in Operations Managementor related business or engineering degree.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.
  • Manufacturing internships/co-ops preferred.
  • Leadership experience demonstrated in academic or extra-curricular activities, or during employment.
  • Ability to relocate.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
