Cape Electric Supply, a subsidiary of Graybar Electric Company, Inc., is seeking a President to provide strategic planning and a vision for the organization. This dynamic and visionary leader will hold the position of top executive, responsible for the profitability of the entire organization. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional leadership skills, a proven track record of achieving results and the ability to inspire cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

In this role you will:

  • Develop, communicate, and implement the company’s strategic vision to align with market opportunities and long-term goals.

  • Identify and execute growth initiatives, including market expansion, acquisitions, and new business opportunities.

  • Collaborate with leaders across sales, operations, finance, and other departments to drive organizational alignment and efficiency.

  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability and innovation across all functions.

  • Oversee the company’s financial performance, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.

  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts and financial reporting to achieve organizational goals.

  • Recruit, develop and retain top talent, building a high-performing and engaged leadership team.

  • Implement programs and initiatives to foster employee growth, satisfaction and retention.

  • Drive process improvements and operational excellence to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.

  • Evaluate and optimize systems, technology and resources to support scalable growth.

  • Identify areas to cut costs while improving programs, performance and policies.

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 5 years in an executive or senior management role, preferably in a similar industry.

  • Proven track record of success in P&L management and driving financial performance.

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with experience developing and executing growth strategies.

  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Track record of driving growth, leading organizational change and delivering measurable results.

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels of the organization.

  • Commitment to fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • This position requires frequent travel as needed.
