Description A Management Resources client it looking for a highly experienced Interim Accounting Manager level Consultant. The ideal consultant will have a deep understanding of ASC 606, have worked in a SOX environment, ability to perform complex balance sheet reconciliations, manage large data sets and knowledge of QuickBooks online. Proficiency in Excel is essential to this role, as well the ability to go back reconcile the past year. As a consultant, you will play an essential role in streamlining our accounting operations and enhancing our financial processes.

Responsibilities:

Provide professional expertise in ASC 606 and conduct complex balance sheet reconciliations in Excel.

Support operational accounting, reporting, and internal control initiatives.

Manage QuickBooks online, and ensure accurate and timely financial reports.

Use advanced Excel functions for financial analysis and data manipulation.

Collaboratively work on cleaning up prior year financials, enabling the smooth continuation of operations.

Collaborate with other teams to troubleshoot accounting issues and find effective solutions.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus.

Extensive knowledge of ASC 606 and experience conducting balance sheet reconciliations.

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel skills.

A track record of successful clean-up projects or turnaround experiences is highly desired.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines concurrently.

Detail-oriented self-starter with a strong ability to identify issues and proactively implement solutions.
