Duties:\ - Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for individuals struggling with substance abuse\ - Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs and goals\ - Utilize evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing and psychotherapy to support clients in their recovery journey\ - Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs and determine appropriate treatment interventions\ - Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in need\ - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as social workers and medical staff, and other entities, such as DEEP, to ensure comprehensive care for clients\ - Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations\ - Stay current on developments in the field of substance abuse counseling through ongoing professional development

Qualifications:\ - Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in counseling, social work, or a related field\ - Valid licensure or certification as a substance abuse counselor (e.g., CADC, LADC)\ - Knowledge of addiction counseling techniques and evidence-based practices\ - Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation tools such as the ICD-10\ - Strong understanding of mental health counseling principles and techniques\ - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills\ - Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team\ - Knowledge of medical terminology related to substance abuse treatment
