Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking skilled and dedicated General Maintenance Mechanics (GMMs) to join our plant team. Candidates will be responsible for preventive and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment within the plant. This role includes an 8,000-hour company-funded Department of Labor Maintenance Mechanic apprenticeship program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and greasing on bearings, conveyors, and rollers.

  • Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs as necessary.

  • Participate in breakdown/teardown of production lines as required for new installations or maintenance.

  • Collaborate with Instrumentation Technicians for comprehensive plant maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Prior industrial maintenance experience is preferred.

  • Willingness to undergo an 8,000-hour company-funded apprenticeship program.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.

  • Familiarity with lubrication, welding & cutting, piping, mechanical power transmission, and rigging.

  • Basic knowledge of electrical equipment systems and wiring.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
