Description

We are seeking a Staff Accountant for a long-term contract opportunity with a company in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be crucial in assisting with day-to-day accounting operations during a medical leave. You will be working in an on-site setting initially with the possibility of transitioning to a hybrid model in the future. Responsibilities:

• Handle the processing of intercompany transactions efficiently.

• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.

• Maintain and update the general ledger on a regular basis.

• Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close processes.

• Utilize SAP for various accounting functions.

• Assist in managing intercompany accounts.

• Actively participate in the month-end close process.

• Monitor and take appropriate action on customer accounts.

Requirements

• Experience in managing Intercompany Accounts

• Knowledge of reviewing and managing Intercompany Transactions

• Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations

• Ability to manage General Ledger

• Experience in Journal Entries

• Skills in Month End Close

• Familiarity with SAP or ADP highly desired

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations

• Experience with financial reporting and financial analysis
