Behavior Treatment & Analysis Talent Acquisition Specialist in Carmel, California

Job Scope:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will have a strong background in recruitment, with a passion for identifying top talent through innovative sourcing methods, including headhunting. This role involves sourcing, screening, and onboarding professionals, particularly Behavior Technicians, Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), and other relevant positions within the ABA field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process for ABA positions.

  • Headhunting: Actively identify and engage with high-potential candidates through headhunting techniques, including direct outreach, networking, and building relationships within the ABA community.

  • Sourcing Talent: Utilize various channels (job boards, social media, networking events including universities) to identify and engage potential candidates who align with the company's mission and values.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers, clinical teams, and HR to understand staffing needs and ensure timely and effective hiring processes.

  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear communication, providing feedback, and guiding candidates through the recruitment process.

  • Screening & Interviewing: Conduct initial phone screenings, assess candidate qualifications, and schedule interviews with relevant stakeholders.

  • Onboarding Support: Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all documentation and training requirements are met for ABA compliance.

  • Employer Branding: Promote the organization as an employer of choice within the ABA community by participating in job fairs, networking events, and online recruitment platforms.

  • Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry-specific standards, including HIPAA.

  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and recruitment activities using the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other HR tools.

  • Reporting: Provide regular updates on recruitment progress, challenges, and successes to management.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably within the healthcare or ABA field.

  • Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the ABA field and its unique staffing needs.

  • Expertise in headhunting and direct sourcing techniques.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of employment laws and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience recruiting for ABA-specific roles, such as Behavior Technicians and BCBAs.

  • Familiarity with sourcing strategies specific to the healthcare or educational sectors.

  • A network of contacts within the ABA or related industries.
