CNO Financial Group Systems Analyst - REMOTE for US based candidates in Carmel, Indiana

Salary Range : $57,900 - $86,900 Annual

The stated pay range is based on a national-average location. Actual salary is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills and location. This position is bonus eligible.

Optavise, a CNO Financial Group Company, is seeking a Systems Analyst to provide technical support and requirements for the systems in their area. This requires building relationships with both technical and business focused job functions. This role builds technology subject matter expertise for the systems supported.

As a Systems Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assists with the preparation of detailed specifications based on gathered requirements; analyze requirements and evaluates options to best address software system requirements.

  • Collects and analyzes information from system users to provide input into system scope and objectives. Performs hands-on activities to develop, tune, maintain, and support nightly processing, reporting, and query capabilities to ensure a high performing system.

  • Works with project members to develop specifications, diagrams and flowcharts.

  • Installs highly configurable software by reading and interpreting manuals and learning the software. Performs basic troubleshooting of system issues and develops minor enhancements.

  • Supports and assists with the creation of technical documentation.

The Systems Analyst position is well-suited for you if you:

  • Know general technology concepts (i.e. applications, databases, browsers, etc.) and IT systems.

  • Build knowledge of your organization, its processes, and customers to support successful system implementations.

  • Recognize the need for occasional deviations from standard practices.

  • Analyze and solve business problems.

  • Work in a team environment.

  • Demonstrate understanding of computing concepts and paradigms (i.e. web based app, integrations, networking, etc.)

  • Possess good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related discipline; or equivalent experience.

  • 3 years of experience in a technical role supporting applications such as employee benefits administration technology/systems, health insurance systems, or voluntary benefits technology.

What will set you apart:

  • System analyst/technical support experience and/or Business analyst/technical writer experience.

Associates who live outside of a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Orlando and Milwaukee) may perform this role full-time work from home (WFH) from any US based location, as long as you are willing to work central or eastern time zone hours.

All associates may be asked to travel to varying corporate offices periodically. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.
