We are in need of a Press Operator on 1st shift! We are looking for someone who can accurately and efficiently setup and monitor rotogravure multi-color presses to imprint pressure sensitive and heat transfer products in accordance with customer specifications. Responsibilities

• Read and follow various work instructions (from factory tickets, customer orders, schedule, charts and instructions) to produce scheduled work and meet scrap, quality, safety, quantity, and other production goals.

• Assist Press Operator with review of customer order, verify job data and schedule and footage needed per report, clarify discrepancies and ensure required job cylinders and inks are in inventory.

• Perform basic computer consoler operations such as start up and put press into idle.

• Remove previous job cylinders from press, and store in proper location and drain inks.

• Check cylinder sizes, load on press, check ink viscosity, adjust as needed and pour in ink fountain.

• Load paper rolls on unwind stand and prepare roll for splice.

• Start up press, make cylinder adjustments for proper print registration and quality and prepare run samples for laboratory.

• Monitor jobs, troubleshoot and diagnose basic print problems (such as hazing, mis-registration and streaks, etc.) and take corrective action to maintain product quality.

• Add ink, wax and paper rolls to press following prescribed procedures.

• Notify 1st Press Operator, Manager, or Maintenance regarding necessary repairs including hose changes and doctor blade holders.

• Assist Press Operator in assigning, training, check work, assist employees and eliminate ordinary operating difficulties.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 25lbs
