Key individual contributor responsible for maintaining and increasing division sales globally for both direct and indirect sales channels supporting the marine market (leisure and commercial applications). Works with current and potential customers to execute on strategic growth initiatives. Additionally, this role will focus on channel management, training, pipeline development, and technical support.

The position will report to the directly to the Technical Service Manager.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of divisional products and value propositions

  • Maintain and increase sales of division products through assigned sales goals

  • Utilize CRM platform to track leads and opportunities

  • Develops and maintains customer relationships for both direct (OEM) and indirect (distribution) channels for assigned products

  • Provide product training to direct and indirect channels

  • Identification of new business, technologies, markets, and customer needs

  • Distribution Channel Management Support

  • Obtain specifications and approvals from necessary parties to secure opportunities and ensure alignment

  • Develop and maintain knowledge of competitive products

  • Assist leadership in strategic planning initiatives

  • Support cross divisional and group sales initiatives

-Bachelor’s degree in technical / engineering discipline.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in direct or distribution sales

  • Strong knowledge of marine market, technical experience and proven track record is desired.

  • Must be able to travel overnight as required.

-Innovative / creative background and capabilities.

-Premier customer service mentality and proven track record.

-Ability to develop solutions to customer problems and translate the solutions into business development strategies and products.

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
