Intermountain Health Service Management Architect in Carson City, Nevada

Job Description:

We are looking for candidates with significant experience in ServiceNow, particularly in Service Management Architecture. The ideal candidate should be proficient in:

IT Service Management (ITSM), HR Service Delivery (HRSD), and Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) best practices,

ServiceNow platform expertise, including designing, configuring, and optimizing workflows

IT Operations Management (ITOM) or IT Business Management (ITBM) (experience in either is a plus)

Strong experience with APIs and systems integrations (this is a critical requirement, as the role will lead integrations)

Familiarity with ServiceNow's GenAI solutions is a major plus

Chatbot and virtual agent configuration, as well as deploying automated solutions

Proven leadership in architecting scalable solutions and mentoring junior staff

Job Essentials

  1. Codes, tests, debugs, and documents programs, and enhances existing programs to ensure that production systems continue to meet user needs.

  2. Coordinates interface with user management regarding project status, direction and user needs to promote an environment of user cooperation and satisfaction.

  3. Contributes to the development of high level system architecture documents and detailed design specifications to serve as a guide for system/application development.

  4. Assists with scheduling, determining manpower requirements, and estimating costs to project completion in order to meet user requirements.

  5. Maintains a high level understanding of industry application development best practices, tools, programming languages and techniques. Keeps current with new developments in the information technology industry and assists in the development and implementation of standards and methodologies at the organizational and departmental levels.

  6. Works with external software suppliers to coordinate software integration and resolution of problems.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, programming, or other technical field. Degree must be obtained through an accredited institution. Education is verified.

Four years of equivalent technical experience and five years of professional software development experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.

Two years of healthcare related software development experience.

Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Highly self motivated and directed.

Keen attention to detail.

Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.

Physical Requirements:

Interact with others requiring the employee to communicate information.

Operate computers and other IT equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.

See and read computer monitors and documents.

Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$53.58 - $84.36
