This is an opportunity to join a team responsible for the supply planning in one of the largest and most profitable divisions of our Fortune 500 company. Our challenge is to analyze customer demand and formulate the best responses and solutions to meet those requirements.

What you will be doing as Supply Planning Analyst:

  • Analyze historical and current production performance data to evaluate capacity.

  • Develop Operational Run Sequencing plans in a cellular manufacturing environment to optimize scheduling, improve efficiency and reduce manufacturing lead times.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to optimize finished goods and raw materials inventory levels, based on lead times, demand variability, and production capacity.

  • Work with manufacturingfacilities to develop production plans, across multiple sites to level-load production and maintain acceptable finished goods levels.

  • Ability to understand customer demand variability and adjust production plans for near term fluctuations.

  • Forecast raw materials requirements to meet production demand and maintain acceptable inventory levels.

  • Develop, maintain, and report key performance indicators related to inventory management, production performance and supply plan accuracy. Make recommendations and/or act as appropriate to improve performance.

  • Examine current processes to identify shortcomings and implement or recommend improvements to drive out waste.

    To be successful in this role, you'll needooking for someone with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Finance or related field.

  • 10+ years’ experience in L&P manufacturing planning can be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.

  • Knowledge of US Spring Bedding products and manufacturing equipment, as well as, working experience with Demantra, LPCS and CLP are a plus.

  • Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain concepts and application.

  • Strong planning and organizational skills.

  • Ability to analyze large and multi-dimensional data sets using Excel, Power Query and other analysis tools.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all cross functional teams, including operations, procurement, sales, demand planning, new product development and finance.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written) required.

  • Self-starter with ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to challenging and changing priorities.

  • Experience in MRP environment is advantageous.
