POSITION SUMMARY
The employee in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. All employees are required to practice the customer courtesy skills to ensure our guests are afforded a remarkable experience. The position is also responsible for the redemption of table game chips, marketing redemptions, ticket in-ticket out redemptions, and other cash transactions. The Cage Cashier is also responsible for providing information to patrons about events in the Casino. He or she must maintain a fun and friendly attitude with employees and guests and ensure that areas are clean and safe for guests and employees.

``` 4. Responsible for various cash transactions and answering customer questions in a courteous and professional manner.

``` 5. Responsible for accurately counting and recording assigned funds and making exchanges of funds throughout the shift.

``` 6. Keeping cash drawer balanced and impressed and ensuring that all casino funds are secured when not in use.

``` 7. Verifying and documenting personal identification information for checks and cash advance transactions.

``` 8. Comply with all company standard operating procedures, gaming regulations, and federal regulations, including Title 31 compliance.

``` 9. Completes all company-required training within designated time frames.
Handles chip purchases, chip redemptions, even exchanges and check cashing.
Maintains the Main Bank, balances the Main Bank at end of shift and is responsible for the funds in
Main Bank. (Vault Cashier)
Prepares bank deposit and verifies the drops from the Count Team. (Vault Cashier)
Keeps custody of certain keys.
WORKING CONDITIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Ability to use all equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to, computer keyboard and telephone, CMS, Certegy, Ticket system, 10-key calculator, jetsort, and currency counter.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to complete forms.
- Basic mathematical functions.
- Knowledge of company standard operating procedures and other company policy and procedures, Title 31, and internal controls.
- Ability to read, write, and understand complex instructions and communicate them to subordinates in a way that can be easily interpreted.
- Ability to complete tasks in an interruptive environment under time pressures.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and all levels of employees.
- Standing 95%, Bending/Lifting 5% (up to 30 pounds). Repetitive keyboarding and scanning.
- Ability to work in a brightly lit, smoke filled casino environment with above average noise levels.
- Availability to work 24-hours hours a day, 7 days a week, varied work schedules, weekends, and holidays.
