True Pipeline Integrity Engineer in Casper, Wyoming

This is a full time position that is responsible for providing operations and regulatory support for the pipelines. This job focuses on managing the pipeline inspection program which includes planning and coordinating the ILI tool runs, oversight of the repair process and record keeping. This job will administer the company Integrity Management Plan to maintain compliance with PHMSA regulations. This job may include operations support to ensure safe and efficient operations of all pipelines, performing hydraulic analysis and developing and maintaining operating and maintenance procedures. This position supports all safety, training, and compliance functions required for the safe operation of the pipelines. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities
  • Reviewing the operating parameters of station equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. This includes PLC program set points and control logic, pump operating data and the use of the MOC (Management of Change) process.
  • Ensuring the operations and maintenance manual is up to date, meeting all regulatory requirements, and reflecting the current operation of the pipeline. This includes knowledge and background in welding procedures, tank operation and inspection, and cathodic protection.
  • Administering the Bridger/Belle Fourche Integrity Management Plan. This will include planning, budgeting and coordinating the ILI tool runs as well as analyzing the inspection results and coordinating the repair process.
  • Providing project management for construction projects ranging from conceptual design, budgeting, equipment specification and procurement to completion of job files and compilation of construction records. Projects include new pipeline construction, pipeline rehabilitation, pump station and terminal construction.
  • Serving as a liaison with Federal Regulators during inspections.
  • Participating in a safety program including completion of CBT modules on safety and procedural topics.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, civil, electrical or petroleum engineering with three (3) years of experience in pipeline engineering; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • Experience with pipeline inspection tools and technology.
  • Working knowledge of pipeline operations, hydraulics and automation.
  • Working knowledge of all federal pipeline regulations and applicable codes and standards.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • English language fluency, verbal and written.
  • Acceptable results of pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol test.
