ManpowerGroup Maintenance Mechanic in Cedar City, Utah

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Cedar City, UT

Pay Range: $26.00-$27.00

This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow all work instructions and safety policies, including proper use of PPE.

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance checks on assigned equipment.

  • Repair basic mechanical components and replace parts on machinery.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions.

  • Dismantle and reassemble equipment for repairs and part replacements.

  • Adjust and calibrate equipment for optimal performance.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment according to housekeeping standards.

  • Document all maintenance activities and record changeover times.

  • Complete all work orders to ensure safety, minimize downtime, and improve overall production efficiency.

  • Adhere to all safety rules and procedures, including lockout/tagout protocols.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.

  • 3-5 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment (or equivalent combination of training and experience).

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

  • Experience using precision measuring tools.

  • Understanding of basic mechanical and electrical systems.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Basic mathematical skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
