Our client, a leading technology company in the electronics industry, is seeking a Contract Hardware Engineer Mid-Level to join their team. As a Hardware Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department, supporting the ASIC/FPGA Design Team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

What’s the Job?

• ASIC/FPGA Design: Capture requirements and contribute to the digital architecture, design, and verification using RTL.

• Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement new tools and practices for the design flow.

• Technical Leadership: Provide guidance to project teams, plan activities, and report status.

• System Integration: Work on timing closure, system integration, and overall design optimization.

• Tool Proficiency: Utilize ASIC/FPGA simulation and synthesis tools such as Modelsim, Synplify, Quartus, Vivado.

What’s Needed?

• Experience: 6-15 years of experience in ASIC/FPGA design and development.

• Technical Skills: Proficient in RTL coding (VHDL/Verilog), digital circuit design, and simulation.

• Tool Proficiency: Experience with tools like Modelsim, Synplify, and familiarity with Unix, scripting, and C/C++.

• Security Clearance: U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance are required.

• Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills for documenting and presenting work.
