Our experienced team includes corporate maintenance, warranty, internal maintenance, licensing, external maintenance, independent contractor maintenance, and equipment.

Job Title: Maintenance Administrator

Location: Onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA (3930 16th Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404)

Job Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday (8:00 AM-7:00 PM)

Job Summary: The Maintenance Administrator position is responsible for providing customer service and overseeing equipment breakdowns including all mechanical/accident repairs outside of CRST service locations for all CRST operating groups. This position has a unique twist in that the drivers own their own equipment and we are offering an above and beyond service to these great people! Inspection, repair, and maintenance of equipment, machinery, facilities, and infrastructure within an organization are essential tasks. Maintenance professionals play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of assets, minimizing downtime, and maximizing productivity. They may also analyze data, identify failure patterns, develop maintenance strategies, and implement reliability improvement initiatives.

Compensation: $19.00/hr Starting Wages (Pay Bi-Weekly) *A final amount is dependent on factors including prior relevant experience, knowledge, and location. Typically, selected candidates are hired at a rate between the minimum and midpoint of the range. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinate with professional driver/operations department to ensure equipment is routed to a service provider for preventative maintenance (PMs) and repairs.

Monitor the progress of repairs with external service providers, record updates as needed, and complete repair orders in Transman (CRST Equipment Solution's operating system).

Answer and coordinate inbound/outbound phone calls.

Inform CRST Operations daily of equipment status.

Negotiation of repair and labor costs with external service providers.

Perform invoice/com check reconciliation.

Perform other customer service duties and tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Successful completion of a CRST background check and drug screen is required.

High school diploma or GED is required.
